As anyone who knows me will tell you... at the moment, I'm super poor and the only money I have in my pocket for things like gas and enjoyment, essentially come from commission/print/button sales. xD Every other scrap of money goes to pay my university tuition. But, this is not a place for complaining, because that's not what I'm doing. What I have decided to do is to turn my want of new entertainment into a more productive outlet. So, this is what I have decided to do. I will reread, rewatch and replay every scrap of media that I own. And for each one, I must complete at least one bit of fan art. And...until I have gone through my library in it's entirety, I will not buy anything new! >:3 I figure, at the very least, this will keep me entertained and practicing my art at the same time until I can get a steady job.
Now, onto the actual piece. This is from a yaoi book called "After I Win" or "Hoshiga Rimasen! Katsumadewa" by Itsuki Kaname. It is a one shot as far as I know and is brought out in America by June Manga. It takes place at some private school. Hiyori and Sawa are brothers that attend the school, though Hiyori doesn't really like Sawa for...interesting reasons. Anyway, most of the story is about how Hiyori meets and falls in love with the adorably loyal Kasumi. There's a little bit of drama, but in the end, they end up together, happily ever after! And then there's Sawa and young Kusakabe-kun in a real blast from the past story. Sawa ( a teacher) meets him when Kusakabe is still a student. Sawa puts on his charm when Kusakabe comes to him for comfort when his parents get divorced, but they are interupted before they go all the way. So, they don't. Years pass and when Hiyori and Kasumi's story starts, Kusakabe ( whose name is now Inoue) is a teacher at the same school and is constantly being harassed by the still affectioned Sawa Nakatani-sensei. ^____^ It's a cute one shot manga, so if you haven't read it, but are into this kinda stuff, give it a shot. The art is GORGEOUS.

Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".

Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
